"Audrey's Room" . . . a dedicated suite that accommodates the
needs of the terminally ill patient and their family. Located on Park Avenue of
the Center, this suite with private bath provides the atmosphere of home where
family members can maintain the necessary vigil in their loved ones final days/hours
of life. The Hospice Philosophy of focusing on quality of life and comfort, remains
an essential part as the natural process moves forward. The Certified Hospice
Program through the Livingston County Department of Health provides hospice services,
in the facility. In addition to the 24 hr. Nursing Care, the Hospice nurses are
trained in pain management and control of symptoms. They oversee the care of the
patient and provide support to the family.
