The Records Office staff consists of four full-time employees. Records management at the Livingston County Sheriff's Office is processed and maintained by the Records Division on the New World Aegis Records Management System.
Responsibilities
The Records Division is responsible for recording, storing, retrieving, disposing, and disseminating records. This includes motor vehicle accidents, cases, traffic tickets, arrests, family court summons, subpoenas, domestic violence reports, DWIs, etc.

For your convenience, motor vehicle accident reports taken by the Livingston County Sheriff's Office are now available online. If the report you are looking for is unavailable, please call the Records Office.
Criminal Reports / Complaints
Access to criminal reports / complaints maintained by the Livingston County Sheriff's Office will be in accordance with provisions of the Freedom of Information Law as set forth by Article 6 of the New York State Public Officers Law.
