GENESEO, N.Y., Sept. 15, 2022 – The Livingston County Board of Supervisors approved a new leader for the County’s Office of Veteran’s Services on Wednesday, September 14, 2022 as David L. Terry was unanimously appointed after having served in an interim capacity since July.
A veteran of the United States Navy, Terry has served as the Deputy Director of Veteran’s Services for the last five years where he has been instrumental in representing the interests of the County’s veterans and their families.
“I’m grateful to the Livingston County Board of Supervisors for their faith in me,” added Terry. “I look forward to continuing to support and assist our veterans and am excited to find ways to collaborate and empower those who served within our County as we strive to create meaningful and impactful programming.”
A graduate of SUNY Brockport with a Bachelor’s degree in English, Terry has spearheaded the development of numerous initiatives and recently forged a partnership with Veterans One Stop Center of Western New York to engage veterans while also offering events to help foster a sense of community.
