GENESEO, N.Y., Oct. 20, 2022 – Livingston County is proud to announce its latest communications tool as the County unveiled a Speakers Bureau designed to provide the community with access to various subject matter experts within the County’s government structure.
The new initiative will provide residents with the opportunity to learn more about how County government works while also providing insight into various programs and initiatives within Livingston County – many of which have been recognized for their excellence on the state and national levels.
“This program offers a great opportunity to share our knowledge with various clubs and organizations including schools, community groups, senior clubs, church meetings and more,” mentioned County Administrator, Ian M. Coyle. “I’m looking forward to continuing to provide our residents with impactful programming like this.”
The Bureau will feature a broad array of topics ranging from public information, grants, records management, preparing for an emergency, workforce development, human resources, resources for seniors, history and more.
The Speakers Bureau is an opportunity for a community group to gather information about a particular subject that can then be used to help bolster or develop their own project or to educate the public about current County programming and initiatives. In addition, topics and presentations can be customized to better suit the goals of the organization requesting a speaker.
The County has made requesting a speaker simple and efficient. To do so, fill out a Speaker Request Form. Please note, all requests should be made at least three weeks in advance. The County will make every effort to accommodate each request, however, we cannot guarantee a speaker’s availability.
