County, Foodlink to Host Pop-Up Food Pantry on December 21st; Volunteers Needed

GENESEO, N.Y., Dec. 14, 2023 – With the holiday season right around the corner, Livingston County and Foodlink are aiming to reduce food insecurity throughout the region by hosting a pop-up food pantry in Mount Morris.  Additionally, volunteers will be needed to help staff the food pantry and assist with logistics.

The pantry will open at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2023 in the Save-A-Lot grocery store located at 15 E. State St., Mount Morris, N.Y. 14510.  Volunteers are asked to arrive at 8:30 a.m.

Volunteers are needed to help with setting up, uploading items from trucks and assisting with traffic flow, boxing food items, delivering food boxes to cars and cleaning up after the event ends.
